The Harper government has not only managed to torpedo the Kyoto Protocol but has also rejected all regulations on the emission of greenhouse gases. Harper’s ambitions have fired 700 experts at Environment Canada and seek to further erode Canadian livelihoods by doubling the development and exportation of bituminous sands, one of the most damaging industries in the world that targets our ecosystem.
Our mission: “Change the System, not the climate!"
The will of the people ought to be directed towards influencing our governments’ economic and social priorities towards climate change policies
Alternatives urges you to help us fight against unnatural climate changes! This contemporary site offers petitions, letters to deputies, public stands, and other options that we hope will persuade you to take a stand!
LET’S CHANGE THE SYSTEM, NOT THE CLIMATE!
Let’s demand the full and active participation of the governments of Quebec and Canada in the Kyoto Protocol. We need the government to reorient the managing policies of natural resources towards a common good.
